For a home where the rooms you share feel welcoming, and a soft spot for bears.

Bare feet beside the bed. The family gathering in the lounge. The quiet corner that needed a little colour.

Alpine Bear is part of the Olivia Bennett Melbourne collection, with brown bears in printed woodland scenes framed by stone-like borders that bring a little of the outdoors into your room.

Keep it where life happens.

An area rug brings your favourite design into the spaces you use most. Beside the bed. In a reading nook. In the living room where everyone comes together.

Choose your size, find its place, and give a familiar room a little more warmth and personality.

Get to know the details.

The artwork is printed onto padded quilted cotton and polyester, with visible stitching across the surface. The top feels soft underfoot, and the rug has a non-slip backing.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry.

Choose the fit for your home.

A little place in their everyday lives.

★★★★★

Honestly wasn't expecting to feel this way about a laundry basket, but every time I walk past it I actually smile. The colour just makes the whole corner feel less like a chore and more like a nice little detail in the house.

Catherine Spencer

★★★★★

It's the little things, isn't it. Since I swapped the old plastic bin for this, that whole corner of the room feels properly finished instead of just functional. Didn't think a basket could do that but here we are.

Jackie Lam

★★★★★

My house has always been fairly neutral, and this is the one properly colourful thing in it. Sounds silly to say a basket "lifted" a room, but it genuinely did.

HANDMADE, WITH CARE

Every design starts here — hours of sketching at a table covered in fabric swatches, coloured pencils and paper, until each pattern feels exactly right. Once it's ready, it's finished with a print that holds its shape and colour wash after wash. From there, every basket is cut, seamed and hand-assembled by Wendy and her mother, because we believe the things you keep in your home should be made with the same care you'd put in yourself. If it's not everything you hoped for, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.

ABOUT US

Wendy & Susan Brisbane started with a simple love: beautiful, well-made pieces for a life well-lived. That same care now goes into every product we offer — each pattern hand-sketched in our studio, then finished with a print built to last, and hand-assembled seam by seam by me and my mother.

I choose every design myself, for the same reason I've always chosen everything in this shop: because it's made with real care, and because it belongs in a home, not just on a shelf.

Quilted designs, hand-assembled with care.
